Mary Schellentrager (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Mary is a queer, cisgender, white woman. She is passionate about serving the LGBTQIA+ community. Her work is rooted in cultural humility from an intersectional feminist and liberation lens.

Mary believes that everyone holds the ability within them to heal from past experiences and grow into their most authentic selves. She views the therapeutic relationship is a powerful conduit for transformation.

Mary received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from American University in DC and a history of organizing in the environmental and labor movements.

Mary is a native Midwesterner based in Sacramento. She provides teletherapy across the state of California. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time in nature, making art, seeing live music, and connecting with community.
